Shrimp Baubles are created when [[cooking]] 5 [[Raw Shrimp]] in the pot at once with at least 7 [[Shrimp Lord]] buffs at once. For example, you could have Obsidian Boots with Shrimp Lord 5 [[Enchanting|enchantment]], and eat Seared Fish with Shrimp Lord 2. This is the cheapest way. After equipping your buffs, you can start cooking. Warning: any less than 5 shrimp will <u>NOT</u> result in a shrimp bauble. You will get one around every 500 Raw Shrimp.

If you successfully augment it to 10 and then it breaks, you may fight the Aberrant Shrimp twice. If you augment it to 20 and it breaks, you may fight it three times. If you get it to 30 you may fight it four times, etc.

A Shrimp Bauble is used to create a Cracked Shrimp Bauble Cracked Shrimp Bauble which is the key to the Gazing into the Abyss dungeon.

Trivia: Shrimp Baubles were introduced during the Alikar's Follery event, they are used to summon Aberrant Shrimp Aberrant Shrimp.

Acquisition

The Shrimp Bauble is a rare byproduct of cooking when either Raw Shrimp Raw Shrimp is prepared into Filleted Fish Filleted Fish or used to brew potions of Shrimp Lord Shrimp Lord enchantment. On average a player should receive 1 bauble for every 500 raw shrimp prepared or 500 batches of Shrimp Lord potions brewed.

Method A: Obtaining a Shrimp Bauble by Preparing Raw Shrimp

1. Before cooking begins, be sure to have an abundance of Raw Shrimp Raw Shrimp available. This may require a visit to the Marketplace or a fishing session at Shallow Pond.

2. Next the chef must be under the influence of a minimum of Shrimp Lord 5 buff, however Shrimp Lord 7 (or higher) is recommended.

3. For example, one way to achieve this is to wear Obsidian Boots Obsidian Boots (or boots with at least 5 enchantment slots) enchanted with 5 scrolls of Shrimp Lord.

4. Consume several stacks of potions with Shrimp Lord 2 enchantment. Enough potions to match the number of Raw Shrimp to be processed. Check to see if the buff is active if not turn it on.

5. Finally prepare large batches of Filleted Fish Filleted Fish, until a Shrimp Bauble Shrimp Bauble appears in the inventory.

Method B: Obtaining a Shrimp Bauble by Brewing Shrimp Lord Potions

This method is similar to Method A, except that a sufficient amount of Heat Heat, Empty Vial Empty Vials, Sweet Essence Sweet Essence and Filleted Fish Filleted Fish is required in addition to the Raw Shrimp Raw Shrimp supply. Lastly brew the large batches of Shrimp Lord Epic Potion potion until the Shrimp Bauble Shrimp Bauble appears.

Tip: Gear with Haste, Empowered Haste, Blitzing, Inferno or Cooking buffs is recommended to speed up the process. Drinking potions of Cooking or Inferno will add to the gear buffs.

Note: Burning the shrimp potions or receiving Fish Oil Fish Oil as a byproduct of preparation or brewing does not affect the chance to obtain the bauble.
