The result of an overzealous cook. Perhaps studying this will make you a better cook? | |
Burnt Fish is material used in
Crafting and
Enchanting.
Acquisition
Burnt Fish is the result of failing to cook food with
Filleted Fish properly. However if a dish containing non fish ingredients fails to cook,
Burnt Food will be produced instead.
The chance to burn fish decreases as a player's cooking level increases. Equipment possessing the Cooking (Enchantment) or Chef affixes will help reduce the possibility of burning.
To deliberately burn fish dishes, remove any gear that improves your cooking skills, use a Searing Ladle, or wear equipment with the Overly Well Done enchantment. Burning fish does not affect the chance of acquiring
Fish Oil, a
or a
Raw Shrimp.
Burnt Fish is available at the Marketplace or earned in combat:
