Whetstones

Whetstones are stones used to enhance melee weapons, applying a multiplier for their damage and accuracy. They are equippable by placing them in the Ammo Pouch. Unlike Ranged Ammunition, no attacks face a penalty if they are not utilized.

Acquisition

There are 4 types of whetstone:

Uses

Place whetstones in the Ammo Pouch before combat. They require an appropriate weapon and relevant abilities selected in the loadout's combat ability rotation. Order and amount of whetstones, should be determined beforehand as they can not be adjusted during battle. Although the Ammo Pouch storage is unlimited, be aware that all whetstones are shared between main character and mercenaries, so adjust quantities accordingly.
