Place whetstones in the Ammo Pouch before [[combat]]. They require an appropriate weapon and it relevant abilities selected in the loadout's [[Combat#Ability Rotation|combat ability rotation]]. Order and quantity of whetstones, should be determined beforehand as they can not be restocked nor reorganized during battle.

Although the whetstones can not be enchanted, most ammo pouches come pre-enchanted with Enchantments such as [[Endless Ammo]] or [[Rune Reserves]] to help preserve whetstones, [[ammunition]], [[charms]] or [[Runes]] respectively. These enchantments can be imparted upon [[:Category:Cape|Capes]]. [[Affixes|Affix Wardings]] with regards to melee damage and accuracies may also prove useful.

Uses
