Fishing Shards are a type of Skilling Shard associated with Fishing. They are used in the Crafting, Augmenting or Researching of fishing related gear.

Fishing Shards can be acquired passively every 5 minutes by fishing. This rate can be adjusted by equipping either a Newbie Adventurer's Backpack or Dwarven Adventurer's Backpack which gives a +10% / +20% chance for an additional Skilling Shard.

Shards are non tradeable however they can be earned in combat:
