Foraging Shards are a type of Skilling Shard associated with Foraging. They are used in the Crafting, Augmenting or Researching of Foraging related gear.

Acquisition

Foraging Shards can be acquired passively every 5 minutes by Foraging. This rate can be adjusted by equipping either a Newbie Adventurer's Backpack or Dwarven Adventurer's Backpack which gives a +10% / +20% chance for an additional Skilling Shard.

Shards are non tradeable however they can be earned in combat:

Quests

• Earn 1000 Foraging Shards by completing the Foraging Equipment quest.

• Turn in 9000 Foraging Shards to help finish the Legendary Hatchet quest to receive The Grovekeeper and unlock its crafting recipe.

Crafting Uses

The foraging set recipes must be unlocked by completing the Foraging Equipment quest before they can be crafted.
