Gems are precious stones that are used as materials in
Crafting,
Augmenting, and
Researching.
There are 6 kinds of gems:
Sapphire,
Emerald,
Ruby,
Diamond,
Black Opal and
Aquamarine.
Acquisition
- Most gems can be found while mining. The Empowered Prospecting and Prospecting buffs will help increase the chance of find gems while mining.
- Aquamarines are the only gem gathered by fishing. The Junk Snagging buff will sometimes replace a caught fish with an Aquamarine.
- All gems are tradeable at the Marketplace.
- The Refining enchantment grants a chance to find gems while smithing.
- The Root Digging enchantment grants a chance to find gems while foraging.
- Opening a Chest, a Dungeon Cache or harvesting a
