This page is about items with the "Junk!" rarity. For junk destroyed by the destructive testing enchantment, see Destructive Testing.
Junk items are objects that have no purpose in game other than selling them to the NPC vendor for
Gold.
Interactions
- Less junk is earned in battle if mercenaries are employed to help you in combat.
- The /selljunk command can be typed into certain chat channels to sell all junk items in Inventory at once, even during battle.
- Despite its name, the enchantment
Junk Snagging, does not increase the amount of junk gathered while
Fishing. Instead Junk Snagging increases the chance of driftwood (
Sturdy Driftwood,
Rotten Driftwood, or
Mystical Driftwood) or an
Aquamarine replacing the caught fish if the current fishing node has access to these items.
Acquisition
- Most junk items are dropped by certain enemies in combat. Sometimes they may be rewarded upon completion of a quest or at the end of a dungeon victory.
- Some junk can be uncovered by wearing equipment enchanted with Archaeology (or during global buffs where Archaeology is active) while gathering (
Fishing,
Foraging or
Mining).
- Metal Slag is a byproduct of refining. It can only be produced while wearing a piece of equipment with the
Refining enchantment (or during global buffs where Refining is active) during the
Smithing of ores at any forge.
- These items are not tradeable at the Marketplace.
