Water Runes are Runes imbued with Water Essence. They are used in Crafting, Ability casting, Enchantment based skill actions, Scrollcrafting, Augmentation and item Research.

Acquisition

• Water Runes are created through :

• Water Runes may be uncovered from a Satchel.

• Disenchanting items with enchantments (that were previously scrollcrafted using Water Runes) will yield Water Runes.

• Earn 1000 Water Runes by completing A Giant Valley quest.

Scrollcrafting Uses

Water Runes are used with other runes, one blank Scroll and Silver in Scrollcrafting to make a variety of enchantment scrolls.

Skill Action Uses

The Supercooling buff whether induced by its respective potion or by wearing gear enchanted with the Scroll of Supercooling has a 1% chance of using up a Water Rune every Mining.

Ability Uses

Enhanced Ice Shard, Ocean's Wrath, Icy Shell, Greater Icy Shell, Greater Ice Bolt, Hailstorm, Ice Trident, Ebb, Flow, Manifest Kalanahmatti, Cone of Frost, Ice Prison and Frostbite are abilities that require Water Runes.
