Platinum Shop

The Platinum Shop is where a player can purchase the premium currency called Platinum as well as an Idlescape Plus subscription. Platinum is used to purchase various character cosmetics, tokens, chat icons, and server wide buffs. Everything purchased via the Platinum Shop are all quality of life (QOL) features.

How to Change Character Cosmetics

Every character has a profile inspection page that shows information based solely on that character. Such information includes the character model (and equipped cosmetics), stats, chat icons, character type (Default, Ironman, No Gather Ironman, etc...), and character name. There are a few ways to view and change the look of a character's profile inspection page. To view a character's inspection page:

• Click on a player's name in chat, then click inspect
• Type "/inspect character's name" then hit enter/return
• Type "/whois character's name" then hit enter/return

To change your character's inspection page:

• Click on Equipment then click the Cosmetics button
• Type "/profile cosmetics" to set the currently worn Equipment and Cosmetics as the character's inspection page
• Type "/profile icons add" to set up to three chat icons in the character's inspection page

The in-game character inspection tutorial which is part of the Who is that Guy? questline can always be utilized for reference as well.

Idlescape Plus Active

Idlescape Plus will give you quality of life improvements in the game through a monthly subscription. An active subscription to Idlescape Plus will include:

Armor Cosmetics

Armor Cosmetics can be used to change the look of a character's profile page.

The table below shows each piece of the Master Chef's Armory cosmetic override. The override can be considered an individual cosmetic override and a full cosmetic override. This is due to each piece being sold as a bundle and are equippable separately or as a full cosmetic override. The total price for the set will cost 2,000 Platinum. The in game description for the set is "Become the true Master Chef and save the kitchen from the evil of burnt food and bad manners!"

Tokens

Tokens can be purchases to do a variety of things, such as increasing Loadout slots, changing your name, your item names, and other helpful things. Each token will be placed into your stockpile upon purchase where they can be used.

Icons

Icons can be purchased with Platinum that can be used to add to the players profile aesthetic and can be used while in game chat. Chat icons can be added and swapped out by clicking on the chat settings icon inside of the chat window. Additional chat icons can be found on the FAQ page.

Buffs

Global player buffs will apply to the entire server for you and others to enjoy, as well as a special thank you in general chat when purchased. You can opt out of displaying your name by clicking "Anonymous Purchase". 20 Platinum is equal to one minute of buff time. Buffs will start at level 2 and upgrade to Level 3 at 1 day, Level 4 at 1 week. Once the threshold is reached, the buff stays at that level including later extensions by different players or yourself.

	Farming 2	Gain a 4% chance to get double the yield when harvesting.
	Empowered Root Digging 2	Gain a chance to find gems while foraging. Stronger enchantments are stronger chances. Consumes no runes.
	Inferno 2	Gain a 8% chance per smithing/cooking action to complete another smithing/cooking action. Caps at 80% strength and 5 consecutive procs.
	Treasure Hunter 2	Increases your chance of finding items from slain enemies by 6%.
	Enlightenment 2	Gain 2 more essence per action where essence is acquired.
	Shrimp Lord 2	Gain 10% chance per cooking action to gain one Raw Shrimp.
	Runecrafting 2	Reduces essence used in Runecrafting by 10%.
	Cooking 2	Decrease chance to burn food while cooking by 8%.
	Efficiency 2	Gain 2% chance to produce an extra item during cooking, smithing, scrollcrafting, and weaving fibers.
	Haste 2	Increases non-combat action speed by 8%. Caps at halving action time. Stacks with Empowered Haste.
	Researcher's Boon 2	Increases shard generation rate by 20%.
	Adventurer's Boon 2	Gives a 20% chance to produce an additional skilling shard.

Notes

• There is no limit to the amount of buffs purchased with Platinum.
• Platinum can be earned through the Referral system by having another player use your referral code and reach a max level of 1485. This will earn you and that player 400 Platinum. This can be done at a maximum of 5 times.
• The in-game guide for the Platinum Shop lists the description for all cosmetics as "Cosmetic items change how your character or equipment looks within the game. This will apply upon your inspect screen and in combat screens. Fashionscape starts here."
• All cosmetics and Idlescape Plus benefits are account bound. This means that every playable character on the account will be able to utilize the purchased cosmetics.
