Description

1% chance to guarantee looting fibers if any exist in the current fishing node. Chance is doubled when using metal hooks. Caps at 50% without a hook, otherwise 100%.

Fiber Snagging gives the player a 1% chance per enchantment level to replace a caught fish with 1 random fiber, if it exists in the node that the player is currently fishing in. Using any metal hook bait doubles this effect.

Interactions

Because it only gives 1 fiber this does not serve as a replacement for the Fiber Finder enchant.

When a fish is doubled due to Gathering, Fishy Fortune, or yield bonuses the enchantment will only replace 1 of the fish with 1 fiber.
