Description
Increases bonuses from using bait by 5% but decreases bait preservation chance by 5%. Increases chance to find known rare resources.

Deadliest Catch increases the flat stats given by the bait while fishing by 5% each while reducing bait preservation by 5%. Bait multipliers are not affected. Deadliest Catch also multiplies your chance to find rare resources from a node a small amount per level.

Negative stats from baits such as Writhing Tentacle Bait will also be increased.

Known rare resources are resources that have been unlocked by reaching the bonus rarity threshold of the item in the zone. Resources that have not yet reached the threshold will not drop.

Bait preservation can not go below 0% and will not use more than 1 bait per action.

Uses

Deadliest Catch can provide close to the highest stat bonuses when combined with certain bait at the expense of almost double the bait consumption at worst.
