Description
1% chance to guarantee looting fibers if any exist in the current fishing node. Chance is doubled when using metal hooks. Caps at 50% without a hook, otherwise 100%.

Fiber Snagging gives the player a 1% chance per enchantment level to replace a caught fish with 1 random fiber, if it exists in the node that the player is currently fishing in. Using any metal hook bait doubles this effect.

Interactions

• Because it only gives 1 fiber this does not serve as a replacement for the Fiber Finder enchantment.

• When a fish is doubled due to Gathering, Fishy Fortune, or yield bonuses the enchantment will only replace 1 of the fish with 1 fiber.

Scroll

The Scroll of Fiber Snagging has a vendor value of 2000 gold and is tradeable at the Marketplace. This scroll is used to enchant gloves, boots or items of the Fishing set gear, and is created through Scrollcrafting:
