Farming Shards are a type of Skilling Shard associated with Farming. They are used in the Crafting, Augmenting or Researching of farming tools.

Acquisition

Farming Shards can be acquired passively every 5 minutes by farming. This rate can be adjusted by equipping either a Newbie Adventurer's Backpack or Dwarven Adventurer's Backpack which gives a +10% / +20% chance for an additional Skilling Shard.

Shards are non tradeable however they can be earned in combat:

• Turn in 24,000 Farming Shards to help finish the Legendary Hoe quest to receive a Elvish Hoe and unlock its crafting recipe.
