Runite Ore is a metallic material gathered by Mining that can be smelted to make Runite Bars. This ore is used in the Augmenting and Researching of mining equipment.

Acquisition

• Runite Ore can be obtained through Mining at the Hidden Mine, Volcano Mine, or Deep Pit.

• A Geode, Greater Geode, or Dwarven Research Cache will have a chance to provide this ore when opened.

• This material is sold at the Marketplace or randomly acquired by Farming a Mysterious Seed.

• This ore may be earned in combat:

Smithing

Runite Ore is used to smith a Runite Bar. Heat and ore quantity may vary depending on:

• mining level,
• the forge used in Smithing (City Forge, Dwarven Forge or Volcanic Forge),
• heat intensity selected,
• the presence of the Miner Set,
• worn equipment with production cost related enchantments such as Pyromancy,
• and mining related enchantments such as Pure Metals.
