Fish Oil is gained through cooking fish or by successfully triggering the Oil Spill enchantment while fishing. It can be used for cooking ingredient and as a crafting material.
Cooking
As a cooking ingredient fish oil reduces the size of the dish by 5, considerably lowering the time needed for the dish while also awarding 15xp (same as a size 3 ingredient) but costing 30 heat.
The size of the dish can not get below 1, even when only using fish oil the size of the dish will be set to 1. Using fish oil is more effective if the dish is larger as described by the cooking speed formula.
