Ammo Pouch Uses
- Charms are placed inside an ammo pouch such as magical bag, quiver or pendant container along with runes, ranged ammunition and whetstones to be used in future combat situations. Order and supply is important as ammunition can not be added to the pouch nor reorganized during battle.
- Charms are an optional item, however not all weapons (typically non magical melee or ranged ones) can use them. Consult the weapon's details to ensure that a proper weapon type and corresponding ability is chosen in the Ability Rotation.
- Charms are expended during combat action turns, packing extra charms is recommended as the ammo pouches hold infinite amounts of ammunition, whetstones, runes, and charms. Be aware that the Ammo Pouch contents are shared between the main character and their mercenaries, so adjust quantities and types accordingly.
- Certain enchantments when activated through gathering or production actions may pull runes from the Ammo Pouch if the main inventory is empty of the specified rune type. Restock the pouch as needed prior to battle, particularly if the weapon, equipment, or ability chosen in rotation requires additional runes.
Enchantments
Although the charms can not be further enchanted, most ammo pouches come pre-enchanted with Enchantments such as Endless Ammo or Rune Reserves to help preserve whetstones, ammunition, charms or runes respectively. These enchantments can be imparted upon Capes. Affix Wardings with regards to magical damage and accuracies may also prove useful.
