Acquisition
Burnt Food is the result of failing to cook dishes properly. However if a dish containing
Filleted Fish fails to cook,

To deliberately burn food, remove any gear that improves your cooking skills, use a Searing Ladle, or wear equipment with the Overly Well Done enchantment. Burning food does not affect the chance of acquiring a
Prismatic Extract or
Raw Shrimp.
