Uses
- Ore can be smelted into its respective bar through the smithing skill
- Runes slatesare used as a component in runecrafting
- Gemsare used to create jewelry, and in some cases, are a compound in augmenting.
- Geodes can be opened for a chance at ores, gems, or very rarely, talismans.
How to mine
To mine, a player will first need a pickaxe. As a player is mining a location, they will eventually obtain an ore (or a gemstone). This ore can either be used in the Smithing skill or it can be sold.
Different areas will give different types of ore, but each area can drop every type of gems and geode.
Some areas will have ores that requires a higher level than the area it is in, in this case, players are able to mine in the area but will only receive ores they meet the requirements for.
