Acquisition

The Greater Magic Tome transforms from the Major Magic Tome at +5 augmentation. See here for cost information.

A Greater Magic Tome is awarded upon completion of the Unearthing Elder Knowledge quest. The previous quest requires: 3 Quest Points, completing of the Going Beyond the Academy quest, and Level 40 Enchanting before it can be accepted.

The Greater Magic Tome transforms into the Elder Magic Tome at +6 augmentation.

To augment and transform from +5 to +6 you need an additional Greater Magic Tome.
