Gargoyle Equipment
Gargoyle equipment refers to a group of Melee equipment which can be created either through Crafting at level 60, or rarely through performing Item Research on Obsidian equipment (with the exception of the Obsidian Breastplate and Obsidian Full Helm).
Each Item Research action performed on eligible Obsidian equipment has a 0.1% (1 in 1000) chance to transform that item into a piece of Gargoyle equipment. Successful Item Research actions on Obsidian equipment also have a 100% chance to generate 1 Infernal Dust, which is used to create Gargoyle equipment through Crafting.
Item Stats
In general, pieces of Gargoyle equipment have slightly lower stats than the equivalent piece of Stygian equipment.
Every piece of Gargoyle equipment has two Warding slots and 6 Enchantment slots.
Every piece of Gargoyle equipment carries the set effect "Gargoyle's Gift", which requires at least two pieces of Gargoyle equipment to be worn and increases strength by up to 18% and melee affinity by up to 12%, scaling with the number of pieces with a minimum of two pieces and a maximum of seven.
