Infernal dust is a byproduct of Researching specific gear or refinement while Smithing. This dust is used to craft Gargoyle Equipment and the legendary Infernal Lance.

Acquisition

• Infernal Dust can be purchased at the Marketplace or earned in combat:

• This dust can be obtained by Researching: Obsidian Equipment, Gargoyle Equipment, or the Infernal Lance.

Another way to acquire Infernal Dust is by wearing a piece of gear with the Refining enchantment while Smithing in the City Forge or the Dwarven Forge (minimum Heat Intensity of 2). The chance for dust increases with higher heat, tier of the bar, and smithing level, and refinement enchantment strength.
