An Iron Bar is a Common item that is used in Crafting, Augmenting, and Researching.
Acquisition
Iron Bars may be created using the Smithing skill. A minimum skill level of Smithing 10 is required at the City Forge, however higher levels are needed to access the Dwarven or Volcanic Forges.

Augmentation and Research=
Augmenting and Researching items cost the same amount of resources. Note that items augmented beyond +5 levels, will also require base copies of the item. On a failed Research action, the item will break and turn into scrap.
