Fishing Shards can be aquired passively every 5 minutes by fishing. This rate can be adjustet by equiping either Newbie Adventurer's Backpack or Dwarven Adventurer's Backpack which gives a +10% / +20% chance for an additional Skilling Shard.

They can be used to craft Ancient Fishing Rod, Ancient Harpoon or Ancient Fishing Net which are needed to craft and augment Ocean's Embrace.
