Tools are implements that provide bonuses to their respective non-combat skills. Similar to armor and weapons, tools occupy specific equipment slots that can be associated with particular character loadouts which in turn are used in certain combat and skill/sub-skill related locations.

Acquisition
Tools and their associated skilling sets may be crafted, earned by quests (or have their recipes unlocked by quest completion), produced through transformation (augmentation or research) of another, and/or purchased at the Marketplace. Set Bonus
Set Bonuses are special buffs that are achieved by wearing the matching gear and/or legendary tool of a particular skill related equipment set.
