Recommended Gear
A party for dungeons usually consists of 2 DPS and a tank.
DPS
Two-handed weapons have higher DPS than one-handed ones at the cost of lower defense, however when using a tank character, the other 2 team members can use two-handed weapons for the extra DPS.
- Level: 50+ in
Magic and
Defense.
- Armor:
Greater Imbued Gear or
Elder Gear.
- Weapon:
Elder Staff or
Sylvan Staff paired with
Ancient Nature Amulet.
Critical Strike greatly improves DPS.
Tank
Ancient Nature Amulet is a good choice for tanks regardless of Nature's Blessing buff, because of the
Fortitude enchantment on it.
- Level: 50+ in
Defense and
Magic or
Strength.
- Armor: Stygian or Runite tank set.
- Level: 50+ in
Magic
- Weapon:
Stygian Battleaxe or
Runite Battleaxe paired with
Stygian Shield or
Runite Shield enchanted with
Healing which greatly increase a mercenary's Health, or
Sylvan Staff paired with
Ancient Nature Amulet for a more healing/defensive buff focused tank.
Monsters
All the Dark Fortress monsters are weak to Magic and
Crush with resistance to
Melee and
Range. The Advisor has +200% defensive
poison affinity, so a poison build is not ideal.
