Augmenting a Sapphire Necklace provides +2 Ice Accuracy and +0.2 Runecrafting per augmentation and costs 5 Gold Bars and 10 Runic Etchant per counter increase, and a number of Sapphire Necklace base copies when augmenting beyond +5.

Researching

Researching a Sapphire Necklace costs the same as augmenting it and will produce Basic Runic Dust on a successful attempt, and will transform it into Uncommon Gear Scraps on a failed one. There is also a (small 0.04% base) chance that researching a Sapphire Necklace will transform it into an Emerald Necklace.
