Blitzing grants the player a chance to prepare another ingredient by 0.05% per effective cooking level.

This does not work in the same way as Inferno, Instead it gives you a chance to prepare additional ingredients in the same action. It can also proc on Inferno's additional actions.

This means that someone with blitzing 8 and an effective cooking level of 100 will have a 40% chance to prepare an additional ingredient.

Blitzing over 100% will count towards even more additional ingredients.

ie, Blitzing 8 with 400 effective cooking levels will give you a 160% chance of preparing another ingredient which can be simplified down into preparing 2 ingredients per action with 60% chance for a 3rd to be prepared.
