Description
Increases bonus rarity by 2 and decreases both bait and reel power by the same amount. Increases chance to find known rare nodes.

Fishing Magnetism increases bonus rarity by 2 while decreasing reel and bait power by 2 for fishing. There is also an increased chance to find known rare nodes.

Known rare nodes are nodes that have been unlocked by reaching the bonus rarity threshold of the zone. Nodes that require a higher rarity than you currently have will not be found.

Uses

Using Fishing Magnetism when you are close to unlocking a new resource in a fishing zone will can bump your bonus rarity high enough to start being able to gather that resource

Fishing Magnetism increases the frequency of rarer nodes you have unlocked resulting in more of those nodes resources and more XP per hour
