Description
Converts a gathered or produced item while Cooking, Fishing, Foraging, Mining, Runecrafting, or Smithing into a single skilling shard every 37.5 minutes on average. Can be further boosted through interactions with enchantments that cause instant action completion or increased main drop generation.

Scholar replaces an item gained from Cooking, Fishing, Foraging, Mining, Runecrafting, or Smithing actions with 1 Skilling Shard.

Interactions

This effect synergises with enchantments that boost shard rate, such as Adventurer's Boon on the Dwarven Adventurer's Backpack. The item replaced will be whatever you gather/produce within that time frame, be careful not to use scholar while making valuable items.

The time taken for scholar to replace an item with a shard follows the following formula

Therefore the reduction in time needed per shard decreases exponentially with the enchant strength:

Scrolls

The Scroll of the Scholar has a vendor value of 2000 gold and is tradeable at the Marketplace. This scroll is used to enchant rings or necklaces, and is created through Scrollcrafting:
