Deadliest Catch

Description	Increase bonuses from bait by 5% but decreases the chance of bait preservation by 5%. Increases chance to find known rare resources.

Effect	Increase bonuses from bait by 10% but decreases the chance of bait preservation by 10%. Increases chance to find known rare resources.

Deadliest Catch increases the stats given by the bait while fishing by 5% each while reducing bait preservation by 5%. There is also a 5% increased chance to find known rare resources.

Negative stats from baits such as Writhing Tentacle Bait will also be increased.

Known rare resources are resources that have been unlocked by reaching the bonus rarity threshold of the item in the zone. Resources that have not yet reached the threshold will not drop.

Bait preservation can not go below 0% and will not use more than 1 bait per action.

Uses

Deadliest Catch can provide close to the highest stat bonuses when combined with certain bait at the expense of almost double the bait consumption at worst.
