Description
Decrease chance to burn food while cooking by 4%.

The Cooking enchantment decreases the chance to burn food while creating dishes thus increasing success chance by 4%. The increased success chance is additive.

Uses

It is recommended to keep cooking chance high as failing results: in experience gains reduced to half and Burnt Food or Burnt Fish (or Ashes when alchemy fails to brew potions). The chance to gain Fish Oil, Raw Shrimp or Shrimp Baubles is not affected by cooking chance.

Cooking chance does not go over 100%. Cooking chance cannot mitigate the additional burn chance from Searing Ladle.

The Scroll of Cooking can be applied to boots, gloves, ladles or to the Cooking Set.

Potion

The Cooking enchantment is available in potion form through cooking alchemy. Potion strength levels range from 1-4. Heat, vial, and ingredient quantities may vary according to Cooking Skill, type of vial used, the equipment of the Cooking Set or gear with Cooking or Production enhancements and the presence of cooking related global buffs.

• Limpe K. Limpe will also randomly drop potions with the Cooking enchantment after his defeat.

Global Buffs

A temporary Cooking 2 buff can be purchased from the Platinum Shop with real life currency or is bought with in-game gold at the Shrine of Toucan when it becomes available at the altar.
