The Miner's Smock is the body armor of the Miner Set. It does not have a level requirement to equip it.

Acquisition

A Miner's Smock is tradable, players can buy and sell it at the Marketplace. After completing the Mining Equipment quest, a Miner's Smock can be crafted using the following recipe:

Note that upon completing the Mining Equipment quest, the player is rewarded with a Prototype Miner's Smock. This Prototype piece is identical to Miner's Smock, with one exception: it is enchanted with Empowered Prospecting 1 instead of Empowered Prospecting 3. There are no scrolls available to enchant the Prototype Miner's Smock further to Empowered Prospecting 3.

Augmentation

Augmenting a Miner's Smock provides +1 Mining per augmentation level. When augmenting it beyond +5, augmenting will also require a number of base copies of Miner's Smock per augmentation level (not per counter increase). It is possible to use a Prototype Miner's Smock as a base copy.

Enchanting

When creating a Miner's Smock, it is enchanted with Empowered Prospecting 3, which increase your chance to find gems or silver while mining by 150%. Rolls before Prospecting and does not stack with it; does not require an earth rune.

It is possible to disenchant and re-enchant this armor piece using the following scrolls—note that there are no scrolls available to re-enchant a Miner's Smock with Empowered Prospecting:
