The Prototype Miner's Trousers are the prototype leg armor of the Miner Set. They do not have a level requirement to equip them.

Set Bonus

• Master Miner [3]: Increases equipment based mining stats by 20%. Reduces damage taken and increases damage done by 25% in dangerous gathering encounters.
• Legendary Rockbreaker [4]: Overrides Master Miner. Increases equipment based mining stats by 40%. Reduces damage taken and increases damage done by 50% in dangerous gathering encounters.

Acquisition

Prototype Miner's Trouserss are tradable, players can buy and sell them at the Marketplace. The Prototype Miner's Trousers is a reward for completing the Mining Equipment quest.

This Prototype piece is identical to a Miner's Trousers, with one exception: it is enchanted with Archaeology 1 instead of Archaeology 3.

Augmentation

Augmentation provides +1 Mining per level. When augmenting the item beyond level 5, base copies of the Prototype Miner's Trousers may be required per augmentation level (not per counter increase). It is possible to use a Miner's Trousers as a base copy.

A Prototype Miner's Trousers is enchanted with Archaeology 1, which gives access to a secondary drop table while gathering with rewards and chances heavily scaling on enchantment strength.

It is possible to disenchant and re-enchant this legwear using the following scrolls:
