Obsidian gear is Equipment dropped by Black Knights. There is only combat-related obsidian gear.

Uses

It is very valuable, as when augmented (Mithril Bar, Iron Bar, Oak Log, Willow Log), it gives the same amount of exp as Runite Gear. It also has a chance of transforming into Gargoyle gear. Also, obsidian helms can transform into Crests of Chaos, and obsidian full helms can transform into Black Knight Great Helms. In addition, it has the same amount of enchantment slots as Runite. Obsidian Battleaxe and Obsidian Breastplate can not be transformed.
