Obsidian gear is Equipment dropped by Black Knights. There is only combat-related obsidian gear.

Uses

It is very valuable, as when augmented (Mithril Bar, Iron Bar, Oak Log, Willow Log), it gives the same amount of experience as Runite Gear. It also has a chance of transforming into Gargoyle Gear from Item Research. In addition, it has the same amount of enchantment slots as Runite.
