The Shrimp Tail is one of the three Shrimp Weapons that can drop from The Maelstrom dungeon, which is accessible by the Ancient Maelstrom Orb. It may also be found in the Beyond the Edge dungeon, otherwise it is craftable. The Shrimp Tail is the Melee weapon of the Shrimp Weapons set, the other two being the Shrimp Scepter for Magic users and the Shrimp Stinger for Range players. They are often paired with the Mantis Shrimp Armor set consisting of the Mantis Shrimp Helm, Mantis Shrimp Greaves, Mantis Shrimp Carapace, Mantis Shrimp Shell and lastly the Mantis Shrimp Gauntlets.
